Doris Ryffel-Rawak, MD, a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist works in her own office near Berne. Encouraged by her husband, a pediatrician, specializing in Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder for many years, she started several years ago to diagnose, treat and coach adult patients herself and is now one of the few specialized doctors for Adult AD/HD in Switzerland.She has attended several CHAAD - Conferences in the US getting involved with networking among professionals worldwide. She gives lectures and training-courses about AD/HD in Switzerland, Germany and Norway, as well as in her native country, Uruguay. She published 2 books in German: 2001: ADS bei Erwachsenen ( ADD in Adults ) ISBN 3-456-83631-7 and 2003: Wir fühlen uns anders (We feel different), ISBN 3-456-83959-6. Doris was a scholar at the “Taller Torres Garcia” in Montevideo/Uruguay. Her teacher was the well known master Jose Gurvich. Her ARTWORK has been exhibited in Uruguay and Switzerland.
